Seokyeong University focuses on innovating its curriculum to ensure student success. It has introduced various extracurricular programs, ensuring they are linked with liberal arts and major subjects. Through such integration, the competencies learned in extracurricular programs are further deepened through liberal arts and major courses. Additionally, in response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the university has introduced primary liberal arts education, entrepreneurship, coding education, and customized majors based on future societal demands, strengthening foundational education in these majors. Also the university adopted learner-centered teaching methods, including self-directed learning. Moreover, it has established a learner-led educational environment through expanding MOOCs, constructing an AI-based individual learning system, project-based learning (PBL), and flipped learning. In order to do such things, Seokyeong University operates double majors, self-designed majors, interdisciplinary majors, integrated bachelor-master programs, credit exchanges between partner universities, field training semesters (standard/autonomous), employment-linked contract departments and entrepreneurship-friendly academic systems.
